SYRIAN GALVANIZED PIPES COMPANY

The "Syrian Galvanized Pipes Company" was founded in 1991 by virtue of the country's Law of Investment, and is one of the leading industrial plants in Syria for the production of a wide range of metal pipes demanded in local, regional and international markets. The Company's plant produces different sizes of hot-dip galvanized pipes, electric-welded hot-drawn and cold-drawn metal pipes and other hollow and structural sections (profiles). The production covers various applications for different water, gas, fluid and cable piping, for industrial, agriculture, construction, water networks, sport and decoration installations, as well as for special structural purposes. Production lines started in 1993 with annual capacity of 20,000 tons. The plant was later expanded to reach current annual production capacity of 35,000 tons of different galvanized and metal pipes and structural sections. The process of manufacturing is finished according to the widely-approved British Standard BS 1387-85. The production is based on using electric welding, high frequency and electronic systems. The Company's products are meeting demands of the local market, and are exported to neighbouring and regional markets.
