Leighton Contracting Abu Dhabi is part of Leighton International, established in the beginning of 2007. They formed a joint venture with TDIC (Tourism Development & Investment Company). The TDIC-Leighton Contracting partnership undertakes contracting for civil engineering and infrastructure, building, and mechanical and electrical projects, project and construction management and facilities management services for TDIC. Their workforce is around 900 people undertaking 6 major projects in Abu Dhabi (Total projects’ value is ~5 Billion dollars). Their steel rebar consumption rate is around 3000-5000 tons per month and they buy from local market in UAE.
