HD SUPPLY

HD Supply is a member of Industrial Distribution's Top 50 with annual revenue in excess of $12 billion USD. Until very recently we were a part of The Home Depot and now we are owned primarily by three private equity groups with The Home Depot retaining a small equity stake. We are comprised of 12 businesses that operate as individual units. These businesses range from Water & Sewer to Lumber and Building Materials. One such unit, White Cap Construction Supply is the only national construction products distributor in the United States. We deal primarily with commercial construction although we do have a large residential business. The majority of our steel spend is in rebar via White Cap. Although I cannot divulge the exact number of tons it is not unreasonable to believe our spend is in the hundreds of millions of dollars and tons.
