Hama steel started production of rebars in 1992. They now manufacture about 80,000 tpy and sell in Nepal itself. They are a rolling mill getting billets from Tata Steel, SAIL (steel authority of India) Vizag Steel, and rolling quenched rebars. They also have a wire drawing plant and import wire rods from Tata steel and SAIL. ( 5.5/6mm and 8mm WRC). They import billets and Wire rods
