Genesis Steel was established in October 2003 as a specialist hot rolled sheet and steel plate merchant. We operate out of a 20 000sq metre company owned facility in Vulcania, Brakpan in the Gauteng Province. Our total storage capacity is 13 000sq metres of which half is under cover. All stock is handled by means of overhead gantry cranes, thus ensuring that stock is not subjected to handling damage. We at Genesis pride ourselves on being a fast and reliable supplier to many companies in the manufacturing sector. These include those involved in major infrastructural projects such as the Power Stations , Mining, Construction, Steel Fabricators and the Steel Profiling sector. Genesis Steel has started a Structurals Division, in order to serve you better. We now stock a variety of Angles, Channels, Beams and Flat Bar. All our stock is to Grade S355JR, except the small Angles of 40 x 40 and below. You have come to expect excellent service from Genesis on the Plate side. We assure you, that we will meet those expectations on the Structurals side as well.
