The Group of Companies Estar joins about 9 metallurgical plants and mini-mills in Russia and abroad. The Company was established in 2005. The production output for 2007 from all plants is approximately 1.6 million tones. In late 2007 the company acquired Istil Group of Companies, together with their plants in Ukraine, the UK, the USA and planned steel works in UAE. The company is active in Russian market, and exports a large part of its products to CIS, Europe, the Middle East, South America. The production line includes steel billets, HRC, CRC, steel tubes and pipes, merchant bars, angles and channels, steel balls, etc
