They are a company engaged in manufacturing and trading of steel products. Our head office, Donau Commodities Handels GmbH , is located in Vienna, Austria. Our mill SC Laminorul S.A. is geographically situated on the river Danube, adjoining the port Braila in the south-east of Romania. The mill was built in 1923 and is now one of the largest steel manufacturers in Romania; it includes several workshops and rolling mills. Nowadays SC Laminorul SA Braila specializes in production of hot rolled profiles and cold drawn steel in order to satisfy large demand from the major customer sectors. The mill was certified in accordance with ISO 9001:2000 in March 2006 by the Lloyd's Register. One of the main products manufactured in our mill - bulb flat for shipbuilding industry, has been approved by the Lloyd's Register, Germanischer Lloyd, Det Norske Veritas. They are currently working with producers and traders from Poland, Ukraine, Switzerland, Russia, Germany, Romania and many other countries.
